As if completing your scholarship application was not difficult enough – now you need to ask your teachers for letters of recommendation. Ouch! Not only is this usually an uncomfortable thing for most students to do….they also tend to put it off until the last minute. Not good – it puts you and your teachers in a very bad situation.

Every year, millions of dollars intended for college scholarships and grants goes unclaimed! Many major companies and private foundations have special funding programs available for qualified employees and in some cases – even customers!
McDonalds, Taco Bell, Clairol – these are just a few companies that have different types of corporate sponsored foundations that offer scholarships and grants for education.

If you really want to go after grants, especially for business and be successful – you need to have the FULL package together – and that is a lot more than just filling out the grant application. It also means putting together a business plan, finding the right grant funder, getting the right supporting paperwork together and making sure that all of the myriad details are put together in the best way to increase your chances of success.
Ideally, you would hire a professional grant writer to do this for you – but most people looking for grants for their business or education don’t usually have a spare $3500 to $5000 to hire this kind of professional help.
